Need a plumber Visalia?
Quik Rooter & Plumbing Inc is the number on plumbing corporation serving Visalia and numerous surrounding cities in California. We are here to serve all of your plumbing needs ranging from a leaky faucet to replacing your entire septic system. We have been in business for over 35 years and we are family owned and operated. Our technicians are fully educated and qualified to handle any plumbing issue that may arise big or small. We do residential, commercial and agricultural plumbing. We are also a certified small business.

Plumbing is an industry that covers anything to do with water, sewer and gas. Starting with water our company repairs, installs and replaces all water lines. Water pipes are made of several different types of pipe, pvc (plastic), galvanized, copper and aqua pex tubing. After years of use these pipes can become corroded and brittle causing a major leak or break in the line. When this happens a Quik Rooter plumber can sometimes do a spot repair where the actual leak is but sometimes the pipe is too brittle and corroded and a repipe is necessary. If this is the case we'll have a plumber of ours replace all of the water lines that are bad.

Water lines are ran underground and inside the home can be ran under the concrete foundation. Other times inside the home the water lines can be ran in the attic and fed down inside the walls. When there is a leak in a pipe that is underground or in a wall it can be difficult to locate exactly where the leak is. That is when a plumber uses one of our electronic leak detection equipment to locate exactly where the leak is to save from tearing up the floor or walls more than necessary.

Sewer is another large part of plumbing. The water that we run in our homes such as the shower, dishwasher, kitchen sink or toilet are all connected to a sewer system. Each one of these sewer lines have a drain and their own sewer line that connect into one larger sewer line. Sometimes these lines get clogged for numerous reasons and a plumber of ours is called out to clear them using our special drain cleaning equipment.

Sometimes our plumbers find items flushed in the toilet that cause a clog or hair in the shower or a lot of grease in the kitchen sink. These are some examples of what causes drains to plug up. More serious problems also arise like root intrusion, broken lines or a belly in the line. All of these can be very serious and cause a major repair or even the sewer line to be replaced. Sewer lines are made of many types of materials such as cast iron, clay, orangeburg (which is a paper like fiber pipe), abs or pvc (plastic), galvanized, copper and sdr17 (a polyethylene pipe). Call for a free estimate and we'll have a plumber to your Visalia residence same day.

Many plumbing issues may arise in your Visalia home. There are many plumbing fixtures in the home that may need replaced or repaired. Some of these fixtures are faucets, shut off valves, garbage disposals, water supply lines, water heaters, shower heads, toilets, washer and dryer hook ups and shower valves. It is very common for problems to arise with these fixtures such as leaks or normal wear and tear causing them to be replaced.

Septic systems are a large part of the plumbing field. For instance septic tanks, leach fields and seepage pits are used as a way to dispose of sewer. The main sewer line runs from the house/building out into a septic tank. The sewer the gets separated into 2 compartments, the solid sewer and the liquid sewer. One side of the tank actually holds the solids while the liquids seep into the back side of the tank. You can see how this can quickly become a messy job. Make sure you hire the right plumber for the job.

The liquids then leave the tank and go out into either a seepage pit or a leach field and absorbs into the ground. This process keeps the tank from filling up. Although the tank may not be full it still needs to be pumped on a regular basis to keep it in a good working condition. We suggest that it is pumped every two years for maintenance purposes. Failure to maintain the septic tank can cause major damage to the tank and even cause the leach line or seepage pit to fail completely, in which a new system will need to be installed. Septic tanks can be made of concrete, plastic or fiberglass. We recommend using the concrete septic tanks to our customers in Visalia. They also come in different sizes ranging from seven hundred and fifty gallons to two thousand gallons being the most common. The size of the tank depends on the size of the home and the amount of people that will be using it.

Leach lines and seepage pits are another area our plumbers specialize in. As discussed before these are both systems used to dispose of the liquids in a sewer system. Leach lines are made up of perforated pipe and rock or infiltrators. Seepage pits are made up of a deep hole lined with concrete liners and rock. Poor maintenance on a septic tank can cause the sludge from solid waste to build up and in this case the liquid waste fails to seep into the ground. When this happens a plumber can treat the leach lines/seepage pit with acid. When other problems arise like root intrusion or when the system has been neglected it will fail completely and it will need to be replaced.
